At ProGym Bodmin, we're proud to be a family-run, friendly gym in the heart of Cornwall, offering some of the best engineered equipment you'll find anywhere in the region. While we've built a reputation over the years as a space for bodybuilders and "meatheads," what really defines us is something much bigger—a welcoming, inclusive fitness community in Cornwall.

Our members come from all walks of life across Bodmin and the surrounding areas of Cornwall, each with their own goals—whether that's building strength, improving fitness, or simply feeling better day to day.

Whether you're completely new to the gym or experienced in training, ProGym Bodmin is a place where everyone in Cornwall can feel at home.

We're also more than just a gym. Our fully stocked shop—open to both members and non-members across Cornwall—offers protein, supplements, clothing, and even a great cup of tea or coffee when you drop in.

April has been a big month for our Cornwall gym.

After 13 years of building ProGym Bodmin into a well-known name in the Cornwall fitness community since opening in December 2013, Rich is beginning to take a step back, handing over the reins to his niece Evie and her partner Adam.

With the official takeover starting on 1st May, April has already been full of exciting changes as they begin to put their own stamp on the gym—focused on growing the ProGym community in Bodmin and across Cornwall, welcoming new members, and making the space even more accessible to everyone.

And this is just the beginning… there's plenty more to come for ProGym Bodmin and the wider Cornwall fitness community.
